Creating change like a Jedi master27 Sep 2018
It sounds a little strange I know, but hear me out, its not exactly the same, but kind of is.
Sitting in a café the other day a friend revealed that the previous day she had felt guilt after forgetting her reusable coffee cup when she saw I was inside.
Keep in mind, I have never said anything to her about coffee cups and had never questioned her level of commitment to sustainability. It was completely her interpretation of my thoughts and judgement of her. I did in fact notice she had forgotten her reusable cup that day and simply thought to myself that it must have been a rough / busy morning leading to her forgetting. Which is exactly what she said the next day.
Wouldn’t it be great if all change could be made through Jedi mind waves of energy? Perhaps it can? Focus on the change you want to see, the solutions and people living with consciousness. If we all keep looking towards the actions that will make the world better can we keep generating a global movement towards a cleaner and better future? Doing what we can in our circles, having fun with it, gently offering help on solutions rather than talking about what's not working
Goes to show that without shaming others, living with consciousness, setting the example and focussing on the fixes. It will likely be helping others be more conscious of their own actions.
It might not solve everything as quickly as we'd like, though at least we will feel better and ready to do more because we feel inspired by others who are just like us.
