5 Things to Try in 201810 Jan 2018
There are a few things that I've learnt along the Fair Food Forager journey. Some personal and some because of the business.
Some things I learnt even though I didn't realise I was learning anything at the time. Things like picturing an idea from someone else’s point of view, thinking of collaboration right away rather than competition or bringing a goal forward from 10 years to 6 months and what that does to my thinking.
Try these things in 2018 if you feel like a change and see what happens.
1. Eat more vegetables
Can you learn to love them if you don't already? I'm not suggesting you need to be a vegetarian or preaching here. All I know is I feel good when I'm eating vegetables.
2. Work together
Often when trying to achieve something you need to start talking about it. A lot. You never know who else might be keen to help out and lighten the load. Many hands make light work and often you will find others are trying to do the same thing as you so join up ask to partner and lets all work together to make the world a better place.
3. Open your mind to other ways
Listen to ideas other than your own. So often people have amazing ideas that I’d never considered. Big and small. I consider everything now and if I can, I will try it their way first. Believe it or not often their way is better, or a combination of several ideas.
4. Aim higher
What do you think is impossible? This more than that. If you aim higher than you think you can achieve, and you only achieve 10% of that, its likely going to be much more than you were achieving before anyway. What if you aimed to quit your job in and follow your dream in 6 months rather than 10 years. You could find yourself reaching the goal in 1 year. Not 6 months but better thab 10 years.
5. Every little thing counts
If we all start thinking that our little bit makes a difference, we WILL change the world.
Join us at Fair Food Forager, choose better food, start walking to work, pick up plastic when you go to the beach, smile at someone, it all helps.
