At Sandygoodwich we have been operating for the past 4 years with the aim of producing dishes that reflect our heritage and enjoyment gained through sharing food. We try to emphasise the importance of community through sourcing local produce which is seasonal, fresh and with as little mileage as possible. Vegetarian available
It is our hope that Sandygoodwich is a place that is used as hub for people that see food as a way to to connect with community and the environment. We do this through using sustainable, responsibly raised produce, holding regular communal and chef’s dinners and hosting a cookbook club.
We make all of our sauces, jams, chutneys, and condiments from scratch so that we know what goes into every element of each dish. All of our pastries are made in house using free range eggs. Our bacon is made in house from start to finish using free range pork, our beef is grass fed and finished and our chickens are free-range and organic.
We are proud to be using a composter which reduces our landfill and food waste to almost zero. Our Closed Loop Organic unit turns our food scraps into compost overnight which can then be given to community gardens or can be taken by customers.
