The Peloton Against Plastic opening night01 Aug 2019
For those of you who didn’t make it to the first screening of our documentary last night, it was a fantastic turnout with great feedback from everyone.
It’s no secret that plastic and humans in general are causing a lot of stress to our beautiful planet. We still think it’s not too late for us to start living a little more in harmony with it and simply taking the time to appreciate what it gives us.
Like a home!
Yes some of our politicians should be the first ones shipped off the Mars but if we are going to make things better, it is really going to come from us and our efforts as communities.
Q&A after the film at the Ocean Space Collective
We will find the solutions, change our ways where needed, force governments to change policy through our persistence or eventually we change the politicians.
The kids are ready and if there is one thing I’ve learnt it’s that we are going to make things better with ideas, motivation and staying positive and upbeat. So let us focus on what we want and go for it. It doesn’t need to be particularly hard for any individual, we just have to start somewhere. What was incredibly apparent from last night is just how much people are screaming out for hope and a reason to press on. Change can be fun and why wouldn't it be? Caring is good for the brain.
