BCorp Brilliance22 Feb 2018
Lets just say that It seems obvious to me that governments don’t have quite the same vision of the future, our health or the environment front and centre of mind. Type these three words into Google if you aren’t sure what I am talking about; Queensland, Coal, Airport
This is just one of the many reasons that I believe a better future, the health of people, technological advancement to assist us in improving mistakes of the past and a recovering environment. Rests in the hands of responsible business and the consumers who support them.
Responsible business can include paying and treating staff and suppliers fairly, supporting local business and community and acting environmentally responsible. Goes without saying really? Well more and more businesses are joining this movement, adding an extra tier to the way they operate. Profit, service, quality and ethics. Giving back to future generations, generations that will keep them in business going forward through reciprocated trust and a like minded vision for the future.
BCorporation and the businesses they support represent what you and I are about. We care where our money is spent and the way we live our lives is about something bigger than ourselves. We feel a consciousness, that what we do effects everything around us. That we can have what we love, while at the same time we believe in ensuring that we leave the planet in a better state than we found it.
This is why we are a proud BCorp, because they are us and we are all in this together.
Times have changed, as we all come to realise that we can live in a world that is fair for all. We can all live in a clean environment, with safe communities, a clean food supply and healthy people. All we have to do is work together.
Check out BCorporations and support the businesses that support the future.
Hangs out in nature, with a passion for its protection. Enthusiasm to help others make better choices. "Many small actions, equal major change". Loves a chat, so look out.
